Welcome to SnapCare’s Privacy Policy. SnapCare (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy is designed to provide you with information about the types of information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and how you can control your data when you use our applications, software, websites, APIs, and services. By using or accessing our App or our Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy. We believe in transparency and value your trust.

When you visit SnapCare, we collect technical information from the device you use. This may include but is not limited to IP address, log files, device type and operating system. We use this information to enhance our services, troubleshoot errors, conduct data analysis and develop new features.

We collaborate with partners who provide us with analysis services to understand how users interact with the SnapCare service and to improve its stability and performance. These partners may use device-specific advertising identifiers, cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your interaction with our services and other websites and applications.

When you first use our application, we collect personal information to customize your exercise plan and tailor our services to your needs. This may include but is not limited to your age, gender, height, weight and target weight.
Information you provide to us or that we generate about you
Personal information you may provide to us through the Service or otherwise or that we may generate about you includes:
- Marketing data — such as your preferences for receiving our marketing communications and details about your engagement with them.
- Supplement-related data — such as your supplement use, supplement names or categories, self-reported health conditions, or self-reported health goals.
1.5 Health and Fitness Information
We request to be associated with Apple Health & Google Health Connect to obtain your step count data and establish your calorie consumption goals. Health data (such as step count) will not be uploaded to our server; it will only be stored and utilized locally on your device. You retain the right to revoke this permission at any time.
1.6 Location Information
To support the “Xiaomi Bracelet Watch Connection” feature, SnapCare will use location information data to search for and pair health wearable devices. This permission is only used during the device pairing process and is only valid when the application is running in the foreground. We do not use location information data in the background, when the application is closed or when the application is not in use.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Improve, Personalize, and Develop the Services
We utilize collected information to enhance, personalize, and develop SnapCare services. This includes understanding user interactions, ensuring service stability and performance, and developing new features. Processing health data is based on your consent (GDPR, Art 6.1(a) and Art 9.2(a)).
- Communicate With You
We use your information to send you service notifications and respond to your inquiries. We assure you that the information we collect will never be sold.
3. Sharing of Information
We may share non-personal information that is aggregated or de-identified to prevent identification of individuals. Additionally, we may disclose information about you to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights, or prevent illegal activity.
Additionally, we may share your personal information with:
- Affiliates — Our corporate parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates.
- Service providers — Third parties that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the Service or our business (such as hosting, information technology, artificial intelligence providers, customer support, online chat functionality providers, email delivery, marketing, consumer research and website analytics).
- Payment processors — Any payment card information you use to make a purchase on the Service is collected and processed directly by our payment processors such as Apple, Stripe, and RevenueCat. 8. Changes to Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy within our applications. Your continued use of our Services after such modifications constitutes your consent to the updated Privacy Policy.
9. Supplementary Clause
This Privacy Policy also applies to users in California under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”). We reaffirm that the information we collect will never be sold.
